First Baptist Church of Jedburg

Thank you for your interest in the First Baptist Church of Jedburg. According to our history records, our church was formed in 1879 by ten local families and our goal has been to continually be the light of God to the community of Jedburg.

Our church is a fellowship of believers dedicated to evangelizing, ministering, and teaching the Word of God as revealed in His Holy Bible. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died on the cross to save people from their sins, and this salvation is available to all who will accept Him. Christ has taken from in the church. We are His body - the extended arms and legs and eyes of God on earth. We cordially invite you to be a part of the church body here at Jedburg.

At this time in our church life, we are in a new and challenging phase. There is so much to do in furthering God's Kingdom on earth and spreading the love of Jesus within our growing community. If you visit with us, we believe you will find our that our worship services are inspiring, fulfilling, glorifying God. You will be spiritually fed while here at FBC Jedburg.

In the Fall of 2009, Rev. Jerry Lethco became our senior pastor at FBC Jedburg.  Stacie Elwood is our Interim Youth Minister - involved mostly with our youth and children's mnistries.  In August, 2011, Rev. Roger Teeslink joined our staff as Pastor's Associate with emphasis on visitation, our shut-ins and seniours.  it is our belief that these "servants of God" are here at this time and placed by God's will.  Thru God, great things are ahead.

Prayerfully consider visiting, worshipping, and fellowshipping with us at First Baptist Church of Jedburg.

Grace and Peace to you from God our Father.
